Happy Happy Happy Birthday!

July 18, 2014

Today I'd like to share a card I made for the current Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge.
First, here is the inspiration photo.

I focused on the stacked boxes with red ribbon on the shelf, and pulled the colors and grid pattern.

I created my own gift boxes with some scraps of CS and background stamps. (The supplies I used are listed below.)

I wrapped some red jute twine around the boxes and tied a bow. I embellished it with a few sequins and rhinestones.

The background panel was stamped Happy Birthday BG (MFT) in Soft Sand ink (Hero Arts). The Kraft banner was cut out using a Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics (MFT). I cut out another banner from a piece of vellum and stamped a sentiment from the Celebrate You set (MFT) with Jumbo Java ink (Versa Magic).

As I used twine, I'm also entering this card to the Seize the Birthday - Twine and/or String challenge.

Thank you for stopping by!:)
