MFT July Release Day!

July 9, 2014

It's time to shop!! All the new MFT products are available for purchase now!

Today I'm showing you two cards using my new stamp set "Sweet Birthday Wishes" along with "Sweet Birthday Wishes Die-namics".

In my previous post, I shared a couple cards that were used soft and sweet colors. The first card I'm sharing with you today is very different from them, but I still love it!

I matched the little girl with some patterned papers from Say Cheese paper pad (Simple Stories). The sentiment flag was die cut using the Pierced Fishtail STAX Die-namics, and I stamped a sentiment from Big Greetings set (I'm sorry! It may be a retired set!) and white embossed.

I used a die from Blueprints 13 Die-namics for these stitching lines. I love that these little lines added a great touch to the card!

For the second card I went back to the soft color combo. And I tried a shaker card for the first time!

I stamped the background panel with the Striped Background in Pink Lemonade ink. I cut off the bottom edge using the Bracket Edge Die-namics.

I used the no line coloring technique this time. I stamped the cupcake image with Natural Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copics. The Fluttering Heart Die-namics was used to create heart confetti. I cut them out from Pink Lemonade CS, Banana Split CS, Spearmint CS, and Grapesicle CS. Doesn't they look like sprinkles? Love it!
The circle window was created using the Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics and Pink Lemonade CS. I stamped the Linen Background onto a piece of Spearmint CS using Spearmint Hybrid Ink, then cut it out using the Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.
The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base with Steel Blue Hybrid Ink.

I hope these cards inspire you! Hop on over to the MFT boutique and enjoy shopping!;)
