MFT New Product Launch

November 12, 2014

It's time to shop, everyone! All of the new MFT products are available for purchase now!!

I've got two cards to show you today. For both cards I used the Cool Day stamp set and Die-namics, and I combined them with some previously released MFT stamp sets.

Here is the first one.

To create a frame that looks like a simple Christmas wreath I used the Circle STAX 1 and 2 Die-namics. I cut it out from a piece of Gumdrop Green CS and covered it with some Mowed Lawn Distress Glitter. Then I coated it with Glossy Accents for more glittering texture.

While it dries, I made the background. I cut out a white circle panel, masked the lower part, sponged some Berrylicious ink, and stamped the snowflakes. For the snowy ground I applied some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter.
I stamped the polar bear image onto a die-cut piece and colored him with Copics.

I die cut a Wild Cherry panel using the Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, and stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Merry Messages set.

Next one is a simple masculine card.

For this card I combined a polar bear from the Cool Day set with the Perk Up stamp set.

After I colored him with Copics I stuck him on a Nightshift Blue panel with a little removable glue. Then I stamped a steam line which is from the Perk Up set  and white embossed it. I added a tiny heart which was die cut using the Cool Day Die-namics.

The sentiment is also from the Perk Up set. I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. (Sorry for the mess!! :()

I added a strip of patterned paper, drew the stitching lines with a white gel pen, and popped up the polar bear image. I matted the panel with Grout Grey CS and adhered it to a Safety Orange card base.

I hope these cards inspire you.
