Cool Christmas

December 19, 2014

I've made three Christmas cards since I posted here last time, and I'd like to share one of them with you today. (I didn't have time to take photos of the other two cards before my husband took them to his office this morning.)

For this card I combined a polar bear image from the Cool Day stamp set with a tree and gift boxes from the Jingle All The Way set. These images were cut out using the matching dies and were colored with Copics. For the background I embossed a piece of Tropical Teal CS with Herringbone Impression Plate (PTI), and added the snowy ground which was cut with the Snowy Drifts Die-namics and three snowflakes (Paper Smooches). The trees and snowflakes were embellished with some rhinestones.

To create a window I used the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics (already retired). The main panel was cut out using a stitched rectangle die from the Blueprints 13 Die-namics.

I cut out the sentiment from glitter paper (DCWV) using the Christmas Greetings Die-namics. The cream rectangle panel under the sentiment was created using the Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics.

This will be the last Christmas card I share with you this year.
I will be pretty busy preparing for Christmas and New Year's celebration this weekend and next week...I'm afraid that this might be the last post for this year, I'm still hoping that I'll be able to share something with you by the end of the year though. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this holiday season!

Thank you for stopping by!:)

Floating Tree Cards

December 16, 2014

Just popped in to share two cards I made last weekend.

Both cards used almost the same ingredients, just changed the colors, and followed THIS tutorial by Jennifer Mcguire.

The supplies I used are listed below. (except the tree die and stamp. These are discontinued now.) Please leave a comment if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by!

Snowman Cards

December 15, 2014

As I said in my last post, I'm busy making Christmas cards for the children in a children's institution that my husband works for. I didn't mention last time though, my husband said that those cards should be different design each other. Haha... not easy... But it's a good way to let them know that each one is special!

I managed to make four cards this weekend, and I'd like to share two of them today.

The snowman and trees are from an old TSG stampset, Warmest Wishes. They were cut out using the matching dies. (With the closure of TSG, these stamp set and dies are discontinued.) The other supplies are listed below.

Sorry for the short post! I will be back tomorrow to share the other two cards.
