MFT June Release Countdown Day 3

May 31, 2015

Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT June Release Countdown!

Today I'm sharing two cards with you - both use the new Abstract Cover-up Die-namics.

While I was thinking about what I would do with the Abstract Cover-Up Die-namics, I just thought that the negative pieces would make an interesting graphical background.
I inked a piece of white CS with Grapesicle, Bubblegum, Banana Split, and Berrylicious dye inks using an ink blending tool, then spritzed some water. After it dried, I cut it with Abstract Cover-Up Die-namics. I picked up some of the negative pieces and adhered them onto a white card base with using the positive piece as a guide.

After I stamped a sentiment from Magical Memories stamp set, I added two butterflies that were die-cut with the Flutter of Butterflies - Lace Die-namics. (It will be revealed on the MFT blog tomorrow.) I added a little shimmer to them with a Wink Of Stella pen.

Of course I couldn't throw away the positive piece. So I decided to make another card with it.
I trimmed off another white panel and stamped it with the Lace Background. After I clear embossed it, I blended the same inks with the first card.

The sentiment panel was die-cut using Blueprints 25 Die-namics. This time I layered the butterflies that were die-cut with Flutter of Butterflies - Solid and Flutter of Butterflies - Lace.

Make sure that all the new products will be available for purchase on July 2 at 10:00 pm (EST).

Head over to the MFT blog for the product details and the list of the DT members participating today's countdown.

Thank you for stopping by today. See you tomorrow!;)
