MFT July Die-namics Design - Rise to the Occasion

July 24, 2015

It's time for this month's MFT Die-namics Design! We are featuring balloon Die-namics to celebrate MFT's 9th birthday month.

I took this opportunity to try creating a 3D hot air balloon for the first time. I used a balloon die from Blueprints 26, Plaid Patterned Paper Pack, and Dots & Stripes Sorbet Paper Pack. I also used a flowerpot die from Spring Garden Die-namics for the basket.
The clouds were die-cut with Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics, and I slightly sponged around the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. For the background panel I die-cut a Stitched Rounded Rectangle panel from Insulation Pink CS and stamped it with Star Celebration Background. The sentiment is from Totally Happy stamp set.

Head over to the MFT blog for a list of DT members participating in today's challenge. Hop around their blogs to see what they have created using MFT Balloon Die-namics! :)

Thank you for stopping by!
