MFT February Release Countdown Day 4

January 30, 2016

Welcome to Day 4 of the MFT February Release Countdown! Today I'd like to introduce you the new stamp set & Die-namics from Birdie Brown line, Recipe for Happiness!

The stamp set includes 4 chef images, 7 cooking tool images, and several punny sentiments. With this set & matching dies, make a SOUPER COOL card for your friend who loves cooking, or for your husband if he is a good chef for your family! :D

I have two cards to share with you. The first one is a masculine card.
Look! His spice shelves are organized so well! LOL.
I die cut the focal panel from Safety Orange CS using the new Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. After I stamped it with the Fine Chevron Background stamp and Versa Mark ink, I cut out a window from it using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I die cut another square panel from Black Licorice CS using the same die with the Safety Orange panel, then lightly penciled a circle window line on it.  I used a die from Blueprints 20 Die-namics and Kraft CS to create the shelves. I stamped, colored, and die cut the spice bottles, then put them on the shelves.

The Safety Orange panel was adhered over the Black Licorice panel with foam tape. The sentiment was white embossed on a Cranberry Cocktail panel cut with the Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I added a Timber Green panel underneath the focal panel and adhered them to the Kraft card base.

Next card is relatively simple.

For the background I stenciled the English Brick Wall directly on the Smooth White card base with In the Buff and Biscotti Dye inks. To create the shelf I stamped a scrap of Chocolate Brown CS with the Diagonal Stripes Background and Whip Cream Pigment ink, and cut it with a die from the Blueprints 22 Die-namics.

The images were colored with Copics and cut out with the matching dies. I curved the sentiment slightly and stamped it with Milk Chocolate Dye ink.

Make sure that all the new products will be available for purchase on February 2 at 10 pm EST.
Head over to the MFT blog for more details of the products revealed today and for more inspiration from the other DT members participating today's Countdown!
