MFT September Release Countdown Day 3

September 4, 2016

Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT September Release Countdown! Today I have a cute interactive card featuring the new Jumping with Joy stamp set and Die-namics

First I cut an oval panel from watercolor paper using the Single Stitch Line Oval Frames Die-namics and watercolored the background using Distress inks (Broken China, Shabby Shutters, Wild Honey, Festive Berries). I cut and adhered a panel of tiny check patterned paper, which is from the new Tiny Check Brights paper pack, to the card base, then layered three oval frames, and embedded the watercolored panel.

The new Pure Innocence girl was colored with Copics and cut out with the matching die. She was attached on the watercolored panel with an Action Wobble Spring. I had wanted to try this fun element for months and finally got a chance this time! :D

Since the spring base was larger than the image, I trimmed it a little with scissors. Actually, it was too hard to cut with my craft scissors when I tried it for the first time. My fabulous and kind friend Donna advised me to use stronger scissors and it worked! Thank you so much, Donna!
You can see how she wobbles in a short video below.

Make sure that all the new products will be available for purchase on September 6th at 10:00 pm EDT.
Head on over to the MFT blog to see all the products revealed today and for more inspiration from the DT!

Thank you for stopping by!
