When I saw this photo, I immediately thought of a cherry blossom image in Bloom set. But I found that Angela already used it on her beautiful card. The next set which came into my mind was Blossom By Blossom set. But, I knew that Karen created a lovely card using it last week. Mmmm... What shoul I do?? (LOL!) After a while, I decided to use Dream A New Dream set for my card.

I gathered scraps of cardstock and selected some rainbow colors to make those little houses. For tiny windows, I used a 3mm hole punch. Isn't it a good idea?;)

TSG 139 : Back To Nature

Happy Monday everyone!
This weeks challenge at the TSG blog (TSG 139) is to make a card/project with a scene of Back to Nature. Use anything you like as long as it involves a character and nature!

I grabbed Zoo-pendous set again and created a CAS card.

Stamp: Zoo-pendous (TSG) Color: Copic Markers

Ink: Espresso (Versa Magic), Jumbo Java, Red Brick (Versa Magic)

Paper: PTI, MME

Accessories: Wood button (stash), Natural Jute Twine (Ribbon Carousel com.)

To create some wavy lines, I stamped the image repeatedly on to a scrap of dp, and then cut them off with scissors. The sentiment was curved to get a fun focal point on a white space. A wooden button and some Jute twine added a bit of natural touch to the card.:)

TSG137 : A New Year, A New Start

Happy New Year everyone! ...I'm late? LOL!
It had been busy days for me this past a week, and I couldn't even touch my ink bads at all. But New Year's holiday is over and my life is getting back to normal at last.:)
I finally got time for crafting last night and created a card for this week's TSG Challenge (TSG137). This week's challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Debby Hughes. Debby is challenging us to create a card "A New Year, A New Start". In other words, create a card depicting your new year resolutions.

When I saw this theme, I immediately thought of the words that is included in the Good Times set, "Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep Going." As you may know, I always say "I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy!!!" and sometimes I get into a panic. LOL! The only thing I can do when I'm in panic is "Keep Going". It is not easy but very very important!:)

TSG 135: Last Minute Gift Tag

Hi everyone!
This weeks challenge over at the TSG blog is brought to us by our glorious leader, Jessica! She is challenging us to make last minute gift tags. Who doesn't need those? ;)

I needed to pack 15 Christmas treat bags for my children's friends last week. It meant I had to make 15 gift tags. So this challenge was really timely for me!:)

I combined two TSG stamp sets for these tags. The decorateive frame, the word, "MERRY CHRISTMAS", and the snowman image were from Holly Jolly set by Melyssa. Other images and the circle frame were from No Peeking! set. As I used a matched die and a 1-3/8" circle punch, it was quick and easy to make these tags!:)
Oh, and I can't forget to mention those gorgeous ribbons! They were from my friend Corinna's shop, Ribbon Carousel.com. Yum!:):)

On this card, I wanted to make a beautiful poinsettia stand out. So I kept the layout simple and colored the girl's dress with a touch of cream (E41). I'm so happy with the end result!:)

TSG131 Quick and Easy!

Happy Monday everyone!
It's time for another TSG challenge!! This week we challenge you to create a set of 5 quick and easy Christmas cards. It's a great theme at this season, isn't it?
Here are my cards for this challenge.

Stamp: Seasons Greetings (TSG)

Ink: Espresso (Versa Craft), Gingerbread (Versa Magic)

Color: Copic Markers Paper: PTI, Echo Park (Season's Greetings)

Accessories: Rhinestone (Kaiser), Red & white twine

Tools: Small Scalopped Border Die (PTI), Corner Rounder Punch (Karla Craft)

* Stamp the image 5 times, color them and cut them out.

* Cut white card stocks into 3-7/8 inch square and stamp the sentiment.

* Adhere a slip of die cut PP onto a white panel and add some twine.

* Adhere a white panel onto a red card base (4-1/4 inch square).

* Put the Santa image on using some dimensional tape.

* Add a few tiny rhinestones to finish the card off.

I completed these five cards within an hour. Definitely quick and easy, ha?

TSG Blog Hop Challenge : No Peeking!

Hello everyone~!
It's the final day of this month's TSG sneak peeks. But wait... Have you read the title of this post?? No peeking?! LOL! Don't worry, we are peeking a stamp set that is called No Peeking!

Kids love to countdown the days until Christmas is finally here and with this new set, you are going to have just as much fun creating a countdown advent calendar! With 25 different adorable holiday images and two sets of numbers, the possibilities are endless! To make this set even more useable, there are two decorative circles and two decorative squares that were designed to be used with a 1 3/8” punch!!

No Peeking! is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 53 stamps and will sell for $24.

When Jessica emailed me about this idea, I was sure that it would be a wonderful set. But a few minutes later, I realized that I had to do at least 25 Christmas/Winter images. 25 images?? Santa, reindeer, tree, gift box, poinsettia, candy cane, ornament, candle and... and..........and... eeeek! I was panicked. LOL!
Honestly speaking, it was not easy to complete this set, but I'm very happy that I could do it!

For today, I created a few small gift boxes and a card.

Since I saw THIS card that was created by Melyssa, I had been wanting to make such a fantastic scene using the Bugs & Hisses set. Last week, she kindly shared an awesome tutorial with us on her blog. And of course I had to give it a try!!

Hi everyone!
Today I'd like to share a card which was based on the Card Patterns Sketch 135.

As you see, I rotated the sketch 90 degree. The stamp set I used was Zoo-pendous (TSG). Actually, THIS card (by Debby) and THIS card (by Jenny), that were made for this week's TSG Challenge, made me grab out this set. Their cards were simple and cute, and really struck me!

I can't believe it's already Wednesday... It has been about a week since I posted last time. I had been working with some illustrations for TSG and had no time for stamping.
But I managed to have time for playing with a newly released set from TSG and got a CAS card last night.

The spider and the sentiment is from Bugs & Hisses set. I gave the spider a witch hat from Hauntingly Delightful set, and added a couple of tiny hearts that were from Day Or Night set. Spider Web Die was used for the border.

Little Witch -- New Digi

Hi everyone.
It's almost midnight here and I know I should go to bed now, but I just popped in to share a couple of cards using my new digital stamps I added to my Etsy shop today.

For the first card, I used "Little Witch". I'm very pleased with the shape of her hat!:):)

Next one was used "Halloween Sister & Brother". Isn't the little brother cute? I LOVE his tiny fangs. But I'm wondering what he wanted to be... Frankenstein? or a vampire?? LOL!

As I've been busy with this and that, my creative mojo has been low...:( I wanted to create 'something', but I was not sure what I want to make. After a while, I decided to pull out my scraps of papers and play with them.

Today we are challenging you to make a Paper Doll using one of your TSG images. Christine Okken did an amazing tutorial HERE on how to make a paper doll with a stand.

For today's challenge, I used three characters from Hauntingly Delightful set. I wanted to make all characters from the set into paper dolls, but it was so sorry that I didn't have enough time to complete it.:( For the background panel, I used Spooktacular Silhouette set.

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and started this week happily.
My son went back to his junior high school yesterday, and today, my daughter went back to her elementary school. I hope my schedule will get back to normal soon.:)

I'm sharing a card that I created for this week's The Paper Players Challenge, which is a sketch challenge.

The patterned paper I used for back panel is from All Spice 6x6 paper pad (MME). When I got it, I thought this retro and bold patterned paper would be difficult for me to use. But I'm happy that it matched with the little girl from Pumpkins On The Vine set (TSG) better than I had expected.

The first one is a CAS Christmas card. I used Fabulous set for making a layered flower and my own patterned paper. The sentiment was from Seasons Greetings. Does the flower look like a poinsettia? I hope so....

These cute squirrels were from Pumkins On The Vine. The sentiment was from My Little Friend, and the yellow border was from Fabulous.
I want to enter this card into this week's CASE Study Challenge, which is a"Signature Style Challenge". Cute image(s), simple layout, MME paper and Copic markers... I admit that most of my cards
consist of these items.:)

It’s almost time for the seasons to change and I illustrated some adorable little girls just in time for autumn! The images in this set were sized so that they can also be used with other stamp sets from my line for even more versatility. Isn't it awesome?:):)

For today, I used my most favorite image from this set (as usual. lol!). Isn't her 'pumpkin' hat cute? Hee hee. Let me tell you a short story about making this image.
When I was thinking about illustrations for an autumn themed set, a hat, which I sewed for my daughter several years ago, came to my mind. I really loved it and my daughter (maybe she was 5yr or so) loved it too. Happily, I could find a few photos of the hat from an old album! (sorry for the photo quality.)

I thought that the top part of this hat looked like a pumpkin and it would be cute if I could make it into an illustration. So I decided to draw a girl wearing a 'pumpkin' hat.:)

Before I share a card for today, I want to let you know that TSG sneak peeks for this month's release have started today. Make sure to visit the TSG blog and find out how you can get a chance to win a new stamp set!!

This week's challenge at The Paper Players Challenge (PP60) is a CAS sketch. I really loved the sketch and couldn't help playing with it!
Here is my take.

I grabbed out my Hauntingly Delightful set (TSG) and combined it with fabulous papers from Mischievous 6x6 pad (MME). I LOVE these papers soooooo much that I actually hesitated to cut them off for a while...

I added 3 new disital stamps to my Etsy shop about 1 hour ago. I'm sharing my sample cards for those stamps today.

The first card was used Hedgehog & Mushroom. I went with CAS style and autumn colors.

As I promised yesterday, I want to share a card I made last weekend.

I used two stamp sets from TSG to make a scene. The cute snake and the sentiment were from Zoo-pendous (by Melissa), and the other images were from My Little Friend. The snake is visiting his friend who lives in a mushroom house.:)

I colored the background (sky) with a Copic Marker, and I'm not happy with the result. It looks monotonous...:( If I had a cloud shaped border die, I did sponging to add some texture. I know I must get a cloud border die!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I'd like to share a card I made this weekend.

This was based on FTL 153 sketch. I know I didn't strictly follow the sketch. But... I just received stamp sets I purchased from TSG yesterday, and this stamp set, Aim For The Clouds, was one of them. I wanted to ink it up and thought it would be fun to combine these images with FTL 153.

Actually I have one more card to share, but I didn't have a chance to take a photo today. I promise to share it with you tomorrow!

Here is my take on the Sketch #128.

For this card I used two stamp sets from TSG, Hibiscus and Bloom. Actually I had a hard time to color this hibiscus beautifully. I couldn't help complaining that this image was not easy to color, even though I'm an illustrator for the set. LOL!

実は時々、Facebook上にいーかげんな（笑）イラストや落書きを載せています。しばらく前にこのボートに乗った男の子と子犬のイラスト（…というか落書き）を載せた時、たくさんの方が気に入ってくださって、スタンプにしよう！と言ってくださったのです。ありがたいことです…（涙）
もしFacebook上で私を見つけたら、是非是非お友達に加えてくださいませ。もれなく、清書前のきったない落書きが見られます。「え？？Toricoさんてこんなに絵が下手だったの？」と思われるに違いありません。（爆！）

I just wanted to create a card following FTL 149 sketch last night. But as soon as I started my card, I had to admit that it was not easy to balance the banner part with the other parts. After I struggled with it for a while, I gave up (lol) and got this card.

Hi everyone! I finally got a couple of cards to share with you today!!!
Today, I added a new digital stamp set, that was named “Moo Moo”, to my Etsy shop. And I wanted to show you my sample cards for the set.

For this card, I used a smiling cow image and a fence from the set. Awesome papers are from MME and the sentiment was from Hero Arts.

For the next one, I resized a cow and combined it with flowers that was included in the set.

I’m entering this card to Digital Tuesday Challenge #119, which theme is “Spellbound” – to use one or more dies. I used Labels 8 die (Spellbinders) and Medium Scalloped die (PTI).

As I mentioned in my last post, my mojo still has been quite low. {sigh} But, when I saw this week’s challenge over at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC 10 – Paper piecing), I immediately knew what I wanted to do. ;) I glabbed out Freeze The Moment set (TSG) and created this card.

As you see, I paper pieced Leah’s dress.
Actually, I usually don’t prefer adding ribbon on my cards because I’m not good at tying a bow. lol! But I think today’s bow is pretty good! (ha ha!)
