Hello everyone!
Today's quick post is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #62 (MTSC 62). The image was colored with Copic Markers. I wanted to add some sentiment below the image panel, but I had no good idea.  I'll add a sentiment when I send it to someone.

I'm rushing the preparation for the group exhibition now! After I complete it, I have to carve a bunch of stamps that have been ordered from customers in Hong Kong and  Japan. So I'll be back here again about in middle of March. (At that time, you may get a peek of  my creations for exhibition. :-))
Well, tomorrow is my birthday! I hope I'll be able to have spare time to celebrate my birthday. lol!

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend!

Trial work

February 18, 2010

Hello everyone!
The hand-carved stamp I show you today is a trial work for the group exhibition. I truly love this design, but it isn't perfect. Because, I had carved off a line which must not be carved by mistake!! Can you find my mistake out? :-) (It's one of stems.)

The photo below is a card using this stamp.

I stamped the image with Real Black(Versa Craft) and heat embossed with clear EP. After I stamped the script stamp which is  from Magenta with Sand(Versa Craft), I sponged some kinds of orange inks.
I'm going to retry to carve this design perfectly this afternoon! ( And...I'll change the shape of the flowers just a little. :) )

Thank you for looking today. Have a nice day!

Stamp: Hand-carved, Magenta, Hero Arts
Ink: Real Black, Sand, Tangerine, Autumn Leaf(Versa Craft), Marigold(artnic), Vintage Photo, Antique Linen(Distress Ink)
Paper: American Crafts
Accessories: Chocolate Pearl(Kaiser), Clear EP
Tools: NT Circle Cutter

Valentine's day card

February 12, 2010

そして、このカードはCrazy 4Challenges(C4C23)にもエントリーします。

Hello everyone!
As I needed to make some Valentine's Day card, I ordered a love themed stamp set last month. But it has not been delivered to me yet! Our children have English lesson in this evening, and are going to give their teachers some Valentine treats. So I had to make this card in a hurry last night.
It was based on the sketch from this weeks Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC 60). And I'm entering this card to this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C23 -- the theme is "Be My Valentine".).

I need to make one more Valentine's Day card, though I have to go to my son's school for open house this afternoon!!! I must hurry!

Thank you for looking. Have a nice weekend.

FTL 77

February 9, 2010

Hello everyone!
This card was used the layout from FTL 77. As soon as I saw Natasha's beautiful sample, I knew I had to work with. But it took me a long long time to decide what image I use. After I tried several stamps, I chose this stamp that had been neglected for a while. I stamped the image three times with Hint of Pesto (Versa Magic). It was hard to stamp correctly at the position  I expected, because my hand-carved stamp is not a clear stamp. I'm not satisfied with the end result very much, but I think I did my best.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stamp: Hand- carved, Hero Arts
Ink: Hint of Pesto, Jumbo Java (Versa magic)
Paper: Bazzill, MME

Nestie friendly stamp --- I did it!

February 7, 2010

Hello everyone!
Some of you may know these Spellbinders Friendy Stamps by Waltzingmouse Stamps. I do want to purchase it, but  hesitate about ordering because of a shipping cost. One day, I thought about making a Spellbinders Friendly Stamp by myself and decided to try it! The photo above is my own Spellbinders Friendly Stamp that co-ordinate with one of Label 8 Dies.
And Here is a card I made with it.

 Close-up photo...

I'm very happy with it, and I 'm going to carve some other Spellbinders Friendly Stamps. :)
Thank you for stopping by today. See you next week!

Hello everyone!
This card is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #59(MTSC 59). When I saw the sketch, I thought that I had to work with it as it was so clean and crisp one. And I just wanted to create a paper flower which followed her great tutorial.
I am in the feeling that returned to my HOME after a long while because I used a touch of lace and several pearls to embellish my card. lol!

Thank you for stopping by today.

Rescue the striped penguins!

February 1, 2010

Happy Monday everyone!
In my last post, I said that I was in love with striped designs now. So I've made this stamp.
Actually  I was going to work with the FTL 76 yesterday. I had a plan to change the tiny squares of the sketch to circles. So I stamped the image and cut them out with a circle cutter. But they didn't match the sketch. I sighed disappointedly and  was going to put them in a trash basket. At that time, I heard the penguins said to me, " Please don't throw us away!!" I thought I had to rescue them. lol!

Here is how I've rescued them. I couldn't complete a card using the FTL 76, but I think it is good that I could rescue the striped penguins. :-)

Thank you for looking!
