MFT February Release Countdown : Somebunny

January 31, 2015

The MFT February Release Countdown began yesterday, and today I'm introducing you a new stamp set and Die-namics from Birdie Brown line, Somebunny!

I'm so happy that this set turned out so versatile. There are so many ways to combine those bunnies and accessory images to create a cute and happy scene. And, thanks to the versatile sentiments that MFT added (yes, it's their fabulous work, not mine!), you can use this set for various occasions throughout the year!

For today's card I used three bunnies and a bow from the set.
To create the background, I made a stencil with the Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and a sheet of acetate, and sponged some Insulation Pink Dye ink. Then I stamped the tiny hearts, which is from Friends Like Us set, with Blu Raspberry Hybrid ink.
For the hill I stamped the Swiss Dots Background onto a piece of Sour Apple CS in Sour Apple Hybrid ink. After I cut it with a Stitched Oval Die-namics and a stitched rectangle die from the Blueprints 13 Die-namics, I stamped and white embossed the sentiment.

Be sure to visit the MFT blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 gift voucher!

CTS #107

January 25, 2015

Today's card is for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #107, a little liberal take. :)

I started with a Primitive Cream card base and added an embossed panel. I die-cut two Stitched Rounded Rectangle panels from Wild Cherry CS and White CS. The upper part of the white panel was trimmed off, and I stamped a patterned border, which is from On Point Borders set (Mama Elephant), in Wild Cherry and Cotton Candy (MFT).

The cute hedgehog and tiny hearts are from the Furry Affection set (Penny Black). I colored them with Copics and cut out with scissors. I added a die-cut "love" (Penny Black) and a couple of hearts.

Thank you for stopping by today!:)

Sending you love & hugs

For today's card I combined three challenges - Fleshly Made Sketch #170,  Simon Says Have a Heart Challenge, and The Card Concept #27 (I think my style is "clean and layered".)

I stamped and white embossed the Tiny Hearts Background (MFT) onto a white panel. Then I daubed Insulation Pink Dye ink (MFT) and Soft Cantaloupe ink (Hero Arts) with a ink blending tool to create a ombre background.

I trimmed and split the panel into two, and added a slip of Peanut Cluster CS (Bazzill) to the upper panel.
I created another piece of ombre paper and die-cut a rabbit from it. The woven circle panel was die-cut with a Memory Box die (I think it's already retired.).

I die-cut the "Sending" (SSS) from Sno Cone CS (MFT) three times and layered them up. I added a tiny flower sequin (SSS) (Isn't it lovely?) to the "i". The rest of the sentiment was stamped in Niagara Mist (Versa Magic).
