MFT June Die-namics Design - Shape it Up

June 19, 2015

For this month's MFT Die-namics Design DT challenge we are featuring STAX Die-namics, especially the most elemental shapes - Circles, Ovals, Squares, and Rectangles.

I  love that MFT has a variety of stitched STAX - basic stitch, cross stitch, and zig zag stitch. For my card today I picked up the Cross-Stitch Square STAX and Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX.

I used the smallest die from Cross-Stitch Square STAX to create a background for the newest PI girl, Tutu Cute.

She was colored with Copics and die-cut with the matching die.
The smaller rectangle panel was stamped with Lace Background in Insulation Pink and die-cut with Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX. The larger rectangle panel was also stamped with Lace Background. I die-cut it with a stitched rectangle die from Blueprints 13 and matted it with a small scalloped rectangle panel which was die-cut using Blueprints 20.

Just wanted to show you a little shimmer on her dress I added using a Wink of Stella pen.:)

You'll find a list of the DT members participating today's challenge on the MFT blog. Hop around their blogs to get inspired by their creative use of MFT STAX Die-namics!

Thank you for stopping by!
