Shirt & Tie Card - MFT February Release Replay

February 14, 2017

๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’— Happy Valentine's Day!! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

Today the MFT Creative Team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present!

I made a shirt shaped card using the new Denim Background stamp and the Boss Babe stamp set. It's a fun masculine card!

I borrowed this idea and template from HERE, but changed the tie and added a pocket.

I made my card base from Cornflower CS and stamped both the front and the back with the Denim Background using Blueberry Premium Dye ink to add texture. I added the stitching lines on the collar and the pocket with a white gel pen.
The tie was cut out of a patterned paper from the Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright Paper Pack. Here is a measurement of my tie.

I white embossed a sentiment from the Boss Babe stamp set on a Safety Orange panel and added a few wooden stars to finish off the card.

Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the other DT members have come up with for today! I'm sure you'll be inspired a lot with their fabulous projects. :)

Thank you for stopping by!
