Today I'm sharing a card I made for this weeks MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge (WSC 338).
As you see, I put two diamonds instead of the heart element in the sketch. I just thought these would construct a "heart" shape.
I die cut my frame from watercolor paper and watercolored it with Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks. I added some watercolor wash onto the inside panel using the same inks and spattered a little Worn Lipstick ink over it.
I used Mermaid Lagoon and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks to watercolor my diamonds. I also added a little shimmer to the top layers (outlined ones) with a Wink of Stella pen, it may hard to see in the photo above though. I stamped a sentiment from the Bling It On stamp set with Gravel Gray ink and added a couple of silver sequins.
My card base was stamped with Geometric Grid Background using In the Buff ink.
Head on over to the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog for the challenge details and for more inspiration from the DT. I hope you'll play along with us for your chance to win a prize!
Thank you!

Great take on the sketch!!
