MFT December Release Countdown Day 5 - Town Bear Slider Card

December 1, 2017

The MFT December Release Countdown has begun! Have you gotten your Christmas cards for this year ready yet? Even if not, more fantastic new products are coming. Take a break from your holiday crafting and visit the MFT blog everyday for next five days to see the full reveal of the new products. :)

I have a masculine interactive card to share with you today. It features the Town Bear stamp set & Die-namics and the Open Road Die-namics.

The Open Road Die-namics contains two types of road dies and coordinated slider channel dies, and it's a great companion to the adorable Town Bear stamp set

First I created my background directly onto a Smooth White card base using the Cloud Stencil and Summer Splash Premium Dye ink. Then I cut a panel from Limelight CS using the Grassy Hills Die-namics and stamped it with the Scattered Surface Background. I cut out a slider channel from it, create a slider mechanism, and hid the channel with the die-cut road.
The sentiment was white embossed on a panel cut from Pineapple CS with the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I adhered the images to complete the scene.

Here is an animated GIF showing how the vehicle moves. (Sorry for the bad quality!)

If you need to know how to create a hidden slider card, watch THIS video tutorial by Stephanie. ;)

The new products will be available for purchase on December 5 at 9:00 pm EST.
Head on over to the MFT blog to see all the products revealed today and for more inspiration from the DT.

Thank you for stopping by!
