MFT January Card Kit Countdown Day 1

January 22, 2018

MFT January Card Kit Countdown has begun! This month's kit is called "Yay for You" and it features the word "Yay" and bright and cheery colors. Celebrate someone you love with a special card made with this fun kit!

The Yay for You Card Kit will be available for purchase on January 23 at 9:00 pm EST. Make sure you stop by the MFT blog today and tomorrow for the full reveal of the kit and for more inspiration from the DT.

(Note: The products written in boldface are included in the kit.)
I made a shaker card for today. I cut confetti from various colors of cardstock (All the colors used are included in the kit) using the Celebratory Confetti Die-namics and sealed them with a piece of translucent vellum and a Chevron Segments Cover-Up panel.

I die cut the "Yay" twice, once from Smooth White and once from Persimmon cardstock, using the So Many Yays Die-namics. Then I adhered them together, slightly offset for a little shadow effect. The words "IT'S YOUR DAY" is from the Yay for You stamp set. It was heat embossed on Steel Grey cardstock and cut out with a strip die from the Hearts in a Row - Vertical Die-namics. A few Gold Stars Sequins were added to finish off the card.

Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the other DT members have come up with for today.

Thank you for stopping by!
