Stitched Blooms Card Kit Countdown Day 1

April 23, 2018

It's time for MFT April Card Kit Countdown! This month's kit is called Stitched Blooms and it contains a set of pretty flower dies, cheerful colors of card stock and envelopes! Make sure you stop by the MFT blog for the full reveal of the kit and for more inspiration from the DT.

(Note: The products written in boldface are included in the kit.)
For Day 1 of the Countdown, I combined the Stitched Blooms Card Kit with the Horizontal Collage Cover-Up Die-namics. I die-cut the collage frame two times from Kraft card stock and layered. I stamped and heat-embossed a sentiment from the Kind Words stamp set onto a cut-out piece and inlaid it to the center of the frame.

I die cut the flowers, curved each petal with a stylus to add a little dimension, and layered. (All the card stock used are included in the kit.) I accented the center of each flower with Crystal Drops (White, Carnation Pink, English Mustard).

The Stitched Blooms Card Kit will be available for purchase on April 24 at 9 PM EDT.
Head on over to the MFT blog to see more inspirational cards that the other DT members have come up with for today!

Thank you for stopping by!

  6. I just adore this card! I love a shabby chic, feminine vibe and I am getting that and more from this beauty. I love the use of the horizontal collage cover up die in the background (genius btw) and the soft colors you used for the flowers as well as the dimension you gave them. This is perfection!
