Painted Prints Card Kit Countdown Day 1

May 21, 2018

It's time to begin the countdown to the MFT new card kit release! This month's kit is called Painted Prints. It contains a beautiful layering flower stamp set & matching Die-namics, a sentiment stamp set, and 12 colors of cardstock! Make sure you stop by the MFT blog for the full reveal of the kit and for more inspiration from the DT.

(Note: The products written in boldface are included in the kit.)
My card for today is simple. I love these flowers that look like tulips because tulip is the symbol flower of my home prefecture. :)
I cut a panel of Smooth White card stock using the Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics and stamped the flowers, stems, and leaves from the Painted Prints stamp set. The ink colors I used are listed at the bottom of this blog post.
After I stamped a sentiment from the Brushstroke Expressions stamp set, I adhered the panel to the card base adding a panel of gingham patterned paper. I added a hemp bow and several dots using Limoncello Jewel Drops for embellishments.

The Painted Prints card kit will be available for purchase on May 22 at 9 PM EDT.
Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the other DT members have come up with for today!

Thank you for stopping by.
