Peek-A-Boo Slider Birthday Card - MFT & Friends Sep 2018

September 11, 2018

It's time for the MFT and Friends feature on the MFT blog. Today MFT design team and some fabulous guests are sharing more projects featuring the most recent release.

I made a Peek-a-Boo Slider Card using the Friendly Raccoons stamp set & Die-namics and the Bundle of Balloons stamp set. I had been wanting to try it since I saw a tutorial video by Jennifer McGuire.

For the front of my card, I stamped the Watercolor Stripes Background with Limelight Premium Dye Ink and cut out a circle window using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I curved a sentiment from the Friendly Raccoons stamp set and stamped it along the circle window. I die cut the "BIRTHDAY BOY" twice from Kraft CS and layered them for a little thickness.

I made my background scene using the Grassy Edges and the Mini Cloud Edges stencils. I drew a few drops of sweat around the raccoon, so he looks so sorry. :D

Here is the inside.
I stamped three balloons and drew the strings with a dark brown pen to have the raccoon hold them. I also stamped the stars, which are from the Fab-Boo-lous Friends stamp set, all over the panel to add a cheery feel.

Here is a short video showing how this card moves.

Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the other DT members and the guests have come up with for today!

Thank you for stopping by!
