Monochromatic Flowers - We're Half Way to the MFT September Release Day!

August 31, 2019

Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT September Release Countdown!

Today I'm sharing a card that uses the beautiful Floral Focus Stamp Set and the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set.

I went with a monochromatic design. I stamped the image onto Natural CS with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. (E41, E43, E44) Then I added random dots with a Copic Marker (E44) and a white gel pen for faux ink spattering. I trimmed it down and adhered to a Milk Chocolate card base adding a thin strip of Gold Sparkle CS along the right edge of the panel.

I gold embossed a sentiment from the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set on Steel Grey CS, cut it out with the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and added to the panel with foam tape.

All the new products will be available for purchase on September 3 at 10 am EDT.
Make sure you visit the MFT blog to see all the products revealed today and for more inspiration from the DT. Some of the DT members are sharing their GORGEOUS coloring on this image! Those look totally different than mine. You'll get inspired by their fabulous cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  3. So gorgeous! Did not realize you had stamped with black ink. I thought it was a dark brown. And the faux splatters...wow!! Such an elegant look! I can't wait to try it myself.
