Interactive Holiday Card - MFT October Vault Release

October 15, 2019

The MFT Vault has opened again! Several stamps and Die-namics are re-released with some updates, and this month, two BB stamp sets have returned!! Make sure you stop by the MFT blog for the full reveal of this month's Vault Release products and for more inspiration from the DT.

I made an interactive card using the Toasty Greetings stamp set & Die-namics for today.

The little penguin looks like he wants to catch the toasted marshmallow. Pull up the tab and see if he can get them. ;)

He tries again and again. Never give up! LOL!
To create my background, I blended Scattered Straw and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on watercolor paper and spritzed some white paint over it. Once the inks dry, I cut it with the A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics and made a simple slider mechanism using the Spin & Slide Channels Die-namics and the Interactive Pull Tabs Die-namics. I adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base with foam tape.

I stamped the images on No-Line Coloring CS with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out with the matching dies. I adhered them to the panel, then added some shadow on the ground with a Copic Marker.
The sentiment was heat embossed on Blue Yonder CS and cut out with a die from the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics. I added it to the panel with thin foam squares.

The October Vault Release is now available for purchase HERE
